06/08/2010 - 152 Lượt xem

The PM sent a telegram last week to ministers, ministerial officials, provincial People’s Committee chairmen, leaders of central organisations and managers of State-owned economic groups and corporations, instructing them to carry out this urgent work while implementing the Government’s resolution on the socio-economic plan and State budget for 2006.
He urged authorities to focus on intensifying production, while cutting down on irrational expenditure, reducing management and production costs, improving product competitiveness and facilitating business.
The second urgent task ahead is the acceleration of export volume. The PM asked the Ministry of Trade to co-ordinate with relevant ministries and provincial authorities to identify potential commodities for export, search for and expand markets, and simplify export procedures.
Price control is another focus of their attention in a bid to ensure stability in the market, for production and in people’s lives.
Regarding the management of investment capital and the State budget, the government leader asked authorities to tighten their control, investigation and assessment of the implementation of investment projects, especially projects to be completed in 2006.
He instructed agencies and individuals in charge of investigations and control to ensure their work is correct, observe principles and not affect or obstruct the workings of projects under investigation.
Ministries and ministerial agencies are required to accelerate the drafting of laws, ordinances and instructions to improve the legal environment.
All complaints have to be acted on and problems solved promptly, he instructed, in order to maintain social security and production.
